It’s officially Spooky Season and we’re back with another blog post! If you’re already following Casting Ireland on social media (we’re particularly partial to Instagram), you may have noticed countless open casting calls popping up on your feed. The reason? We’re busier than ever and we couldn’t be more delighted!
These last few months have been a whirlwind and our small business has grown exponentially. As you may know, we cast the vast majority of our projects offline, recruiting Actors, Models, and Extras directly from our Talent Pool. With that in mind, as you can imagine, the jobs we share online only account for a tiny fraction what’s happening behind the scenes!
In light of our busiest year yet (and it’s only October!), we’re writing to express our gratitude to you – our exceptional Talent and valued Clients. Thank you for being part of the Casting Ireland success story, for putting your trust in us, and for championing creativity and collaboration.
We’re also penning this post to offer a peek behind the curtain. What have we been up to exactly?
Since summer drew to a close, we have placed hundreds of Actors, Models, and Background and Featured Extras in diverse projects. These have included feature films, TV spots, commercials set to be broadcast in Ireland and abroad, information campaigns for NGOs, comedic skits, online eLearning content, Halloween advertisements, Christmas events, in-person panels, social media shorts, financial literacy training videos, vox pops, and so much more.
We’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with a myriad of clients ranging from world-renowned tech and computer companies to food and beverage giants to international hotel chains to home-grown Irish brands.
All in the span of three months!
On top of that, our Talent Pool has grown to over 4,000 members. We’ve attended industry events to monitor trends and developments in the world of casting. We’ve diversified our digital strategies. We’ve optimised our Talent Database. We continue to refine our casting services to ensure the most pleasant, seamless experience for both our Talent and Clients.
As always, our members have gone above and beyond, receiving stellar feedback from Producers, Directors, and Coordinators. None of this would be possible without their dedication, flexibility, and craftsmanship.
To everyone who’s had a hand in getting us here, however big or small, sláinte agus go raibh míle maith agaibh go léir.
Stand by, folks, because there are some phenomenal projects coming down the line. This is just the beginning!
